Imeko

On Monday, 24th July, 2023, members of the Pastor in Council Works and Projects Committee visited the Celestial Church of Christ, Agunloye Parish, Ondo State Headquarters, Akure, on a fund raising sensitization blitz and to fuel awareness for the Imeko City Development Project.

A detailed presentation on the Imeko City Development Project was made by Venerable Superior Evangelist Olusiji Olajide, who was accompanied by Venerable Superior Evangelist Adeboyeku Okanlawon and the Commitee’s Secretary, Superior Evangelist Adejare Oshin.

The objective of the Committee is to reawaken the dream of the founder of the Celestial Church of Christ, Prophet, Pastor, Founder Samuel Bilewu Joseph Oshoffa; who, in his lifetime, desired that the city of Imeko be built into an admirable pilgrimage site for all members of the Celestial Church of Christ and for posterity.

The desire was to create a city that could be likened to Jerusalem, the Holy City, capital of Israel. Our own Jerusalem that would boast of all modern amenities including good roads and drainages, constant electricity, residential estates, hospitals, cathedrals et al.

It is this dream that the members of the Pastor in Council Works and Projects Committee seek to reawaken and actualize.

Every member of the Celestial Church of Christ must therefore contribute to the realisation of this lofty dream. All hands must be on deck. That little contribution from you…and you… and you, would go a long way to make the dream of our founding fathers a reality.

Let’s join hands together! Let’s build our own Jerusalem!! The Imeko City Development Project is a task that must be done!
