Lagos Speaker Obasa Mourns with APC  Speaker Mudashiru Obasa has expressed deep condolences to Lagos APC Chairman Cornelius Ojelabi over the passing of his wife, Ebunoluwa

 

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Mudashiru Obasa, has extended his heartfelt condolences to Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, Chairman of the Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC), following the passing of his wife, Mrs Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi.

In a condolence letter personally signed by him, Speaker Obasa expressed his sorrow over the loss, offering prayers and support to the grieving family.

“I was deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your beloved wife, Mrs Ebunoluwa Esther Ojelabi, to the cold hands of death.

My heart goes out to you and your family during this incredibly difficult time,” the letter read.

Obasa acknowledged Ojelabi’s contributions as a political leader, describing him as a dedicated and compassionate individual.

He assured the APC chairman that the memories shared with his late wife would serve as a source of comfort.

“As the chief pilot of our great party in Lagos State, I have had the privilege of working with you, and I can attest to your dedication, compassion, and strength,” Obasa stated.

“I do not doubt that these qualities will carry you through this challenging time. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.”

The passing of Mrs Ojelabi has drawn condolences from political figures and party members across Lagos State, recognising her as a pillar of support in her husband’s political and personal journey.

As the Ojelabi family mourns, many have continued to offer their prayers and sympathies, reflecting the deep sense of loss felt within the APC and the wider Lagos political landscape.
