In her post, Bakare described their bond as one built on trust, laughter, respect and a unique understanding, hinting that they chose to follow their hearts despite public opinions.
“Our friendship was built on trust, laughter, respect, and a deep understanding that only we shared.
While others had their opinions, we chose to listen to our hearts,” she wrote, also crediting the designer of their matching outfits.
The photos reignite speculation over the nature of their relationship.
During the 2025 Christmas celebration, Bakare had shared images of herself and Motolani in matching pyjamas, declaring that love conquers all, while Motolani revealed he had expected to spend the holiday alone until Bakare showed up.
Bakare previously hinted at romance in 2023 when she introduced a mystery man on Instagram, describing love as a beautiful experience and inviting fans to an event at Amore Garden, Lekki, on December 2.
Despite the speculation, Bakare has clarified that she is not currently married, noting that the man she frequently appears with is simply a colleague.
She has openly addressed critics of her personal life, once responding to a troll questioning whether she would leave a partner over money, affirming her financial independence.
Bakare has been married twice. Her first marriage was to US-based businessman Olumide Okufulure, with whom she shares a daughter, Simi.
She later married Alhaji Mutairu Atanda Orilowo in 2012, and the union produced two sons.
