LAUTECH Alumni Association announces 2025 Convocation Lecture and Dinner to celebrate excellence, inspire fresh graduates

 

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n a continued drive to foster excellence, integrity, and mentorship, the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Global Alumni Association is set to host its 2025 Alumni Convocation Lecture and Dinner on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at the iconic Great Hall of the University.

With the theme “Celebrating Excellence and Integrity in Service to Humanity,” this year’s event is designed to empower LAUTECH’s graduating class with insights from accomplished alumni and thought leaders across diverse sectors.

Speaking ahead of the event, Engr. Olalekan Badmus, Global President of the LAUTECH Alumni Association, described the event as more than a celebration—“It’s a platform for reflection, knowledge exchange, and real-world guidance.

We’re bringing in seasoned voices to prepare our fresh graduates for life beyond the university walls.”

The lecture will spotlight topics like personal growth, innovation, ethical leadership, and service to humanity—critical areas as graduates face a rapidly evolving world.

The evening dinner will serve as a powerful close, honouring distinguished alumni and offering a vibrant space for networking and recognition.

Since its establishment in 1990, LAUTECH has earned a reputation as a hub of technological innovation and academic excellence, producing leaders in engineering, medicine, ICT, entrepreneurship, and public service.

The Alumni Association, through initiatives like this, continues to uphold LAUTECH’s legacy of building leaders who inspire transformation within Nigeria and beyond.
