The LAUTECH Alumni Association’s 2024 Annual Lecture and Civic Reception will honour distinguished alumni and foster unity in the LAUTECH community.

 

 

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Alumni Association Worldwide has officially announced the details of its much-anticipated 2024 Annual Lecture and Civic Reception/Awards.

This prestigious event, aimed at celebrating the remarkable achievements of distinguished LAUTECH alumni and fostering deeper connections within the university community, is set for 14 November 2024, at The Hall, LAUTECH Ogbomoso.

Organisers reveal that the day’s events will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the Annual Lecture, while the Civic Reception and Awards will follow at 3:00 p.m.

Attendees will include alumni members, university officials, community leaders, and special guests, gathering to honour those who have made significant contributions across various sectors.

The event will feature an impactful lecture delivered by Senator Sarafadeen Ali, who will share insights relevant to alumni, students, and faculty alike.

In addition, awards will be presented to selected alumni for their outstanding contributions to society, serving as an inspiration for the university’s current students and recent graduates.

Notable figures from academia and industry will also present keynote speeches, enhancing the occasion’s intellectual appeal.

The programme promises valuable networking opportunities for both alumni and students, strengthening professional and social connections across the LAUTECH network.

Engr. Abdulrahman Olalekan Badmus, the Global President of the LAUTECH Alumni Association, highlighted the importance of the annual gathering:

“This event not only honours our remarkable alumni but also strengthens the bonds within our global network. We are committed to supporting our alma mater and its future leaders.”

He also encouraged the media to provide comprehensive coverage, noting that attendees can access further details through official channels.
