In a recent video titled Life With Laycon, the ‘Fierce’ crooner revealed that he lost his inner voice after winning Big Brother Naija in 2020 and only regained it in December 2021 following his sold-out concert, The Icons Fest.
“Has the world ever gone silent on you and all you have left was your own thoughts?” Laycon asked. “After I won Big Brother Naija, I lost my inner voice. The first time I heard it again was December 2021 after my concert.”
The rapper explained that silence prompted deep self-reflection, asking questions like: “Is this really how you want to live? Are you enjoying yourself? What’s next after this? Are you happy?”
Laycon stressed that embracing solitude is crucial for personal growth. “Silence may be uncomfortable, but it’s a mirror projecting your life through your thoughts. It allows you to make necessary changes,” he said.
