Nollywood star Mercy Johnson withdraws defamation lawsuit against TikToker Eedie Bliss following public outcry and calls to stop cyberbullying
Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson has withdrawn the defamation lawsuit she filed against TikToker and content creator Eedie Bliss.

Bliss was arrested for allegedly making claims about Johnson’s husband and family.
His release was confirmed on Saturday by VDM following widespread public criticism.
“@MercyJohnsonOkojie, thank you very much, my GREATEST OF ALL TIME, for dropping the case,” VDM wrote on social media.
He urged Nigerians to refrain from cyberbullying and respect Mercy Johnson’s family.

“Moving on, I am buying all defamation cases against Mercy Johnson and her family. The bullying is too much. You all should leave her family alone,” he added.
