The controversy erupted after UK-based Nigerian woman Ify Okafor accused Nancy and ex-beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of being involved with her husband, Circa Lagos owner Petite, while she was still married.
Nancy addressed the situation subtly on Instagram, posting vacation photos and videos showing she remains unbothered.
She signalled optimism for the future, declaring 2026 as her “softest year,” and emphasised a focus on personal growth and positivity.
The actress thanked colleagues and fans for their support, encouraging women to remain focused on their goals despite gossip or false claims.
This is not Nancy’s first experience with public scrutiny. In 2022, she debunked claims that her lifestyle, including trips abroad, was funded by a man identified as Michael Dion-Golie.
She demanded proof and insisted her success should not be linked to assumptions about women’s morality.
Nancy has also faced criticism over her fashion choices, with a mother and daughter accusing her of “leading men to sin” due to her revealing clothing.
The actress continues to advocate confidence and professionalism, letting her work speak louder than online rumours.
Meanwhile, veteran actress Rita Dominic praised Nancy, noting on social media that the 33-year-old’s upbringing was exemplary.
