Daredevil armed robbers on Thursday attacked three commercial banks in Uromi, Edo State.
It was gathered that the hoodlums carted away huge cash running to millions of Naira.
The affected banks included First Bank, Union Bank, Unity Bank and UBA and the robbers operated for over two hours using IEDs to blow up bank premises.
The Edo State Police Command spokesman, Superintendent Bello Kontongs, confirmed the incident.
However, an unconfirmed report alleged that over 21 people were shot dead while the operation lasted.
