At the Marketing Edge Awards, which celebrated its 21st anniversary, Tosin Eniolorunda, Group CEO of Moniepoint Inc., was honoured as the “Outstanding Fintech Personality of the Year.”
Moniepoint Microfinance Bank was also named “Outstanding Digital Bank of the Year,” showcasing its digital banking excellence.
In addition, Moniepoint won “Best MSME Financial Inclusion (Microfinance Bank)” at the MSME Finance Awards, further reinforcing its commitment to promoting financial inclusion for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria.
The MSME Finance Awards, organised by Economic Forum Series and Nairametrics, celebrates innovation in the financial sector.
Moniepoint’s recognition was attributed to its transformative fintech solutions, particularly its partnerships with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade & Investment.
These collaborations have digitised and formalised over two million MSMEs, providing them with greater access to financing and other business support services.
John Ajayi, Publisher and CEO of Marketing Edge, praised Moniepoint for its exceptional performance, noting that the awards were determined with support from Kantar, a global leader in marketing data and analytics.
He lauded Moniepoint’s positive impact on Nigeria’s financial landscape over the past year, particularly through its innovative banking solutions.
Reacting to the triple honours, Tosin Eniolorunda expressed gratitude and dedicated the awards to Moniepoint’s customers and teams.
“These awards are a testament to our commitment to making financial services accessible to all, particularly in underserved communities,” he said.
“We will continue to develop solutions that empower businesses and drive economic growth across Nigeria.”
