Moyo Ogunleye mocks Alex Otti’s celebrated road feats, claiming his own first 100 days as Kosofe chairman outshone the Abia governor’s record
Moyo Ogunleye, chairman of Kosofe Local Government Area in Lagos, has mocked what he called the “over-celebrated” road achievements of Abia State governor Alex Otti, describing them as below par when compared to his own record as a council chairman.
The debate began after a pro-Obidient platform shared photos of six recently commissioned roads in Abia State, hailing Governor Otti as “the most active governor in Nigeria.”

Reacting in a repost, Ogunleye scoffed at the celebration.
He wrote: “My first 100 days starter recipe in 2021. Lol,” before listing ten roads he said were built and commissioned during his first 100 days in office.

The roads included Araromi Street in Ogudu, Idowu Dada Street in Ogudu, Ajoke Street in Ogudu, Abayomi Odubena Street in Ojota and Abioye Street in Mende.
Others were Julius Kadiri Street in Ifako, Ara Orin in Ifako, Awanatu Street in Oworoshoki, Baale Close in Oworoshoki and Ogundairo Street in Oworoshoki.

According to Ogunleye, his record as an LGA chairman within his first 100 days surpassed what was now being celebrated at the state level in Abia.
Governor Otti, who has spent 499 days in office, recently told journalists that his administration had completed the reconstruction of 90 roads across Abia State.

Records show that Ogunleye has constructed 36 roads so far, with 11 more currently in progress.
