The facility, located in the Southern Tumbuns, was reportedly used for storage and coordination by the insurgent group.

The precision bombardment, carried out on 5th and 6th June 2025, resulted in the elimination of scores of terrorists and successfully disrupted planned attacks across the state, which were intended to mar the recent Eid celebrations.

Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, disclosed the details of the successful operation.
