Mike Adenuga hosted a lavish wedding for his daughter, Afolasade, in Lagos, marking a union of two elite Nigerian families with style and grandeur.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he air was filled with joy as Nigerian billionaire and Globacom founder, Dr. Mike Adenuga, hosted a spectacular wedding for his daughter, Afolasade Adenuga, and Adebola Ogunsanya, son of the esteemed Ogunsanya family of Ikorodu.

The event, held on Saturday, 26 October at the newly built Se-Se’s Grove in Ikoyi, Lagos, gathered Nigeria’s elite in a lavish celebration of love and unity.

The wedding joined not only two people but also two of Nigeria’s most prominent families. Afolasade, a barrister and Group Executive Director of Mike Adenuga Group, brought together the legacies of both families in a setting that echoed elegance and luxury.

The ceremony drew widespread attention, with Lagos’ Se-Se’s Grove transformed into an opulent venue for the day.

The Adenuga family spared no expense for the celebration, which was held in the elegant marquee erected at Se-Se’s Grove specifically for the wedding.

Decorated in lavender and adorned with floral arrangements and unique star-shaped decorations, the venue set the tone for an unforgettable occasion.

Adding to the night’s magic were performances by iconic Nigerian musicians, including Juju legend King Sunny Ade and top entertainers like D’Banj, Flavour, and Davido, who entertained the high-profile crowd.

Adenuga, known fondly as the “Spirit of Africa,” was visibly overjoyed. Surrounded by family, friends, and key figures from his business empire, he mingled with guests, embodying the warmth and hospitality for which he is renowned. His wife, Titilola Adenuga, was by his side, welcoming guests and sharing in the joy of the moment.

The wedding reflected not only the union of Afolasade and Adebola but also the enduring relationships between two influential Nigerian dynasties.

Guests from the elite circles of Nigerian society gathered for the traditional ceremony, marking the union of the Adenugas and the Ogunsanyas.

Afolasade Adenuga, 29, brought her own impressive credentials to the union. A lawyer and the founder of QuickLaw, a law firm handling significant international partnerships and property portfolios, she is a dynamic professional in her own right and currently serves as a Group Executive Director in her father’s conglomerate.

The celebrations began the previous Sunday at an exclusive pre-nuptial event at Adenuga’s luxurious ‘Bellissima on the Waterfront’ villa in Banana Island, where friends and family enjoyed the legendary music of Ebenezer Obey.
