The date was announced by Justice James Omotosho after Kanu failed to open his defence, having exhausted the six days granted by the court to present his case.
The judge held that Kanu could not claim denial of his constitutionally guaranteed right to a fair hearing, since he did not utilize the opportunity provided.
Meanwhile, Kanu filed a motion challenging his trial, arguing that terrorism is no longer an offence in Nigeria.
He contended that the Terrorism Prevention and Prohibition Act, under which he was charged, had been repealed, and urged the court to dismiss the charges and release him.

The court is expected to consider both the motion and the evidence presented before delivering its verdict on November 20.
