The 10-day competition will welcome student-athletes from around 30 private universities nationwide, with events spanning football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, scrabble, and athletics.

Originally launched in 2005 at Igbinedion University, NPUGA has become more than a sporting competition  it is a powerful platform for youth development, unity, and national integration through sports.

“NPUGA is a platform where private university students showcase their talents in sports,” said Dr. Olasunkanmi Osundina, Babcock’s Director of Sports.

He emphasized its role in connecting students and enhancing their development beyond academics.

Referencing national teams like the Super Falcons and D’Tigress, recently honored for their continental triumphs, Dr. Osundina noted how sports are vital to nation-building.

Babcock has assured top-notch preparations, promising a well-organized, impactful event that blends competition, excitement, and student engagement.
