Residents of Oladipo Bateye Street, Ikeja GRA, have made a heartfelt appeal to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for urgent intervention to restore their long-neglected road.

According to Clem Braimah, a spokesperson for the community, the street has been abandoned for an extended period, leaving residents feeling ignored and frustrated.
“The road has been left unattended for too long, and it feels as if the residents do not matter,” Braimah said.
The residents emphasised that the deteriorating road has created daily commuting challenges, posing safety risks to both motorists and pedestrians.
They are calling on the governor to prioritise their request and improve living conditions in the community.
