The video showcases Olamide’s signature style and further solidifies his position among the heavyweights of the Nigerian music scene.
The song, which features WizKid and Darkoo, is described as a “slow and easy jam” with a dominant and consistent percussion beat, allowing all collaborators to shine.
Olamide handles the first verse and choruses, with WizKid delivering the second, and Darkoo the third verse.
The music video, a conceptualized production by T.G. Omori, blends present and futuristic aesthetics.
While it includes the common trope of females clad in underclothes in soft focus, the high-quality resolution video also possesses a short-movie feel.
The biggest adventure you can take is to live the life of your dreams.
Although the visual plot sometimes deviates from the lyrics, it appears to be an abstract and artistic interpretation of the lyrical message on the lifestyle and clout of affluent individuals.
The video’s aesthetics, from high-fashion costumes to auto-machine props and settings, align well with the song’s title, “Billionaires Club.”
Less than a day after its release, the “Billionaires Club” video was trending at number 13 on YouTube, garnering 608,597 views.
It is one of three tracks from the new album released in audio-visual format, alongside “Kai” featuring WizKid and “99” featuring Seyi Vibez, Asake, Young Jonn, and Daecolm.
