The hybrid event, designed to accommodate virtual attendees, will be held at Eko Hotels & Suites on July 12, 2023, at noon and will be the first in a series to honour the legacy of Sound Sultan, whose patriotism and pro-Nigerianess were evident in his art (music, theatre, and movies) during his lifetime.

The symposium is part of the activities organized by the Sound Sultan Estate, managed by Nigeria’s premier talent management agency, Now Muzik, to celebrate the 2nd-year memorial of the music icon, who passed away on July 11, 2021. Other activities include Firdau prayers in his honour, and the release of a brand new post-houmous single, Money Race, featuring Spyro.
