Ossai Success reacts in defence of Pastor Jerry Eze comments emerged after an old photograph showing the popular preacher praying for Alex Ekubo resurfaced on social media shortly after news of the actor’s death became public.

The founder of Streams of Joy International faced heavy reactions online, with some social media users questioning why the actor allegedly was not healed despite receiving prayers during his battle with cancer.

Reacting to the criticism in a statement shared on his official Facebook page, Ossai Success condemned the mockery and insisted that faith and prayer should not become subjects of ridicule because of death.

“I’m disappointed in those mocking Pastor Jerry Eze for praying for Alex Ekubo, just because he still died of cancer,” he wrote.

The media aide further maintained that miracles and divine healing remain part of Christian belief, stressing that the outcome of every situation ultimately rests with God.

“Whether you like it or not, God is still in the business of healing and miracles,” Ossai Success added.

He also cautioned critics against making light of spiritual matters, saying that receiving prayers does not guarantee immunity from death.

“The fact that Alex was prayed for doesn’t mean he couldn’t die. God knows what is best,” he stated.

The renewed debate surrounding Pastor Jerry Eze and Alex Ekubo’s death has continued to generate divided reactions online, with supporters defending the clergyman while others question public claims about healing miracles.
