A new book titled The 40 Most Influential People in Nigeria by journalist and PR consultant Bode Odeseye has highlighted the contributions of some of the most eminent personalities in Nigeria.

This book captures the achievements of individuals who have risen to the pinnacle of success and carved a niche for themselves in various fields, leaving a lasting impact on society.

Influential Nigerians

Otunba Gbenga Daniel, a former Governor of Ogun State and current Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District, is renowned for his contributions to infrastructural and economic development. During his tenure as governor, Ogun State saw significant advancements in infrastructure, education, and industrialisation, cementing his legacy as a transformative leader.

Professor Babagana Zulum, the Governor of Borno State, is lauded for his relentless efforts in improving security, education, and healthcare in a region plagued by insurgency.

Lt. General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd) is recognised for his impactful contributions to Nigeria’s military and his philanthropic efforts.

Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Dr. Adedeji Adeleke, Prof. Wole Soyinka, Dr. John Olukayode Fayemi, Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan and Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola, governor of Lagos State.

Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr., Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Chief Olusegun Osoba, Dr. Godswill Obot Akpabio, Malam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, Engineer David Nweze Umahi, His Royal Majesty Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona and His Royal Eminence Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar,are also on the list.
