Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola and Cristina Serra end their 30-year relationship, keeping the separation private and amicable.

[dropcap]M[/dropcap]anchester City manager Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, have amicably decided to part ways after more than three decades together, according to reports from El Periódico.

The couple, known for their low-profile approach to their personal life, reportedly made the decision in December 2024 but kept it private, sharing the news only with close family and friends.

Despite the challenges of separation, sources close to the couple have described their relationship as “completely cordial, stable, and friendly.” Guardiola’s preference for keeping his personal life out of the spotlight has ensured the matter remains discreet.

Guardiola and Serra’s relationship began in 1994 when they met in a Barcelona fashion store. After two decades together, the couple married in a private ceremony in 2014.

They share three children—Maria, Màrius, and Valentina—who remain their priority amidst this transition.

As Guardiola navigates this personal chapter, he remains focused on leading Manchester City through another competitive season.

The mutual respect between him and Serra underscores their shared commitment to maintaining a strong foundation for their family.

This separation marks the end of a long-standing partnership but reflects their shared resolve to approach this transition with dignity and mutual respect.
