Two suspects have been arrested over the death of Okoli Chizoputam, a student of the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife in Osun State.

The student was beaten to death on campus on Monday over an alleged phone theft by the deceased.

Days after the incident, the Osun State Police Command said upon getting information about the development, officers were deployed to the accident and emergency unit of OAUTHC where the victim’s body was kept.
