Portable regains freedom, debuts new look

Nigerian singer Portable has been released by police after a dispute with his baby mama, debuting a new look and performing for fans

Singer Portable has regained his freedom after being arrested following a public dispute with his baby mama, Ashabi Simple.

The altercation, which escalated to the police station, led to Portable being charged to court. Fans celebrated his release, welcoming him home with cheers and gifts.

In the process, the singer was given a new nickname, Innocence, as part of the celebrations.

Videos circulating online show Portable crying at the police station and later performing at a local event.

During his performance, he took the microphone from the artiste on stage, thrilling the crowd.

Fans also admired his new look after he cut his hair, giving him a refreshed appearance.

Supporters expressed excitement over his return, with many predicting a new song addressing his experiences and feud with his baby mama.

Ashabi Simple previously explained her reasons for reporting Portable, claiming he assaulted her sibling and seized her phone, prompting her to seek police intervention for her safety.
