The German rejected a possible move to Chelsea Football Club and Tottenham Hotspur before the end of last season. He was also linked with a move to the Serie A to manage Napoli.
Thomas Tuchel was hired as a replacement for Nagelsmann who went on to win the Bundesliga on the final day of the 2022/23 football season. The Bayern hierarchy were not happy with the performance of the team after the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
Naglesmann would be replacing Christophe Galtier, who has reportedly been fired after just one season at the Ligue 1 champions. He signed a two-year deal with the Parisians in July 2022, leading them to winning their 11th Ligue title.
