Jassim is understood to have submitted a fifth improved bid for Manchester United this week.
His latest bid would clear £1bn worth of debt at Man Utd.
In a post via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday, Jassim insisted that he is for the complete takeover of the club.
He claimed that his competitor Jim Ratcliffe was offering pennies.
He wrote, “Media knows very little about Manchester United takeover
“If Jim Ratcliff’s offer was higher than Sheikh Jassim, then he would have taken over by now.
“Jim counting pennies.We are here for the complete takeover.
“Qatar will buy Manchester United.
“I said last week and I am saying this week.”
