[dropcap]R[/dropcap]eal Madrid has officially announced the monumental signing of England international Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool.

The 26-year-old defender has agreed to a six-year contract with the Spanish giants, linking him to the club from June 1, 2025, until June 30, 2031.
The agreement between both clubs was confirmed by Real Madrid in an official statement released on Friday via their website.
“Real Madrid C.F. and Liverpool FC have reached an agreement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who will be linked to our club for the next six seasons,” the statement read.
Alexander-Arnold arrives at the Santiago Bernabéu after an exceptionally successful spell with Liverpool, where he played a pivotal role in securing nine major trophies.
His impressive haul with the Reds includes one UEFA Champions League, one FIFA Club World Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, two Premier League titles, one FA Cup, two EFL Cups, and one FA Community Shield.

A product of Liverpool’s esteemed academy, Alexander-Arnold has spent his entire professional career at Anfield until this move.
He made his senior debut for the England national team in 2018 and has since represented the Three Lions at the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups, as well as the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament.
On the individual front, Alexander-Arnold has garnered significant global recognition for his standout performances.
He was named in the FIFA FIFPro World 11 in 2020, included twice in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season (2018/19 and 2021/22), and selected three times in the Premier League Team of the Season (2018/19, 2019/20, and 2021/22).
He was also voted the Premier League’s Young Player of the Season for 2019/20.

Alexander-Arnold is expected to feature for Real Madrid in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, which is scheduled to be held in the United States beginning June 14.
