Record producer Rexxie has claimed that singer Seyi Vibes is an “industry plant,” alleging that his rapid rise to stardom was orchestrated by industry insiders.

During a recent TikTok livestream, Rexxie said Seyi Vibes’ success was carefully planned and partially influenced by divine arrangement, suggesting it was the result of strategic backing rather than organic growth.
“Seyi Vibes’ blow was an orchestration and a bit of divine arrangement. It was orchestrated in the sense that those behind him planned it. It was well-planned. Let’s not deceive ourselves,” Rexxie said.
The producer further alleged that Seyi Vibes and his team attempted to initiate a public rivalry with fellow artist Asake for publicity but were rebuffed.
“Seyi Vibes and his team even tried to force a beef with Asake but got snubbed. I don’t want to go into the details but it is understandable that Seyi Vibes’ blow was orchestrated,” Rexxie added.
As of Monday, Seyi Vibes has not publicly responded to the allegations.
Industry watchers note that claims of “orchestrated success” are common in music circles, though direct evidence is often difficult to substantiate.
