Business mogul, Alhaji Umar Saro has passed away.
The Ilorin-born industrialist died of coronavirus at a private hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Saro, a billionaire, was friends with Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Rasak Okoya, and the likes.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Atinuke, who clocked 70 recently, and many children.
Saro was an in-law to a famous designer, Lisa Folawiyo.
Lisa’s sister, Sike, who was attacked on the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge two weeks ago, is married to Saro’s son, Yusuf.
