The singer, born Paul Okoye and formerly of P-Square, responded after the handle @chubbiedivah posted an allegation that he raped and coerced a domestic worker while allegedly sending his wife and sister-in-law out of the house. The accusation spread rapidly across social media and provoked widespread reaction.
In a now-viral tweet, Rudeboy warned he would “find you” and use “every necessary means, power, resources and money” to bring the accuser to justice.
He added that the person would “face the law” and that he intended to “use you to set an example — a scapegoat.”
The singer also made a chilling comment suggesting the accuser should “leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space.”
As of press time, Rudeboy’s management has not issued a formal statement addressing the rape allegation or clarifying the singer’s threats.
The identity of the X user has not been independently verified and no charges have been filed in court.
Legal experts warn that allegations of sexual violence are grave and must be handled with care. Criminal accusations require investigation and proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Meanwhile public figures risk exacerbating tensions when they respond with threats rather than pursuing formal legal channels.
The episode has prompted a broader conversation about social media, accountability and the responsibilities of high-profile individuals when faced with serious claims.
Supporters of Rudeboy say he is entitled to defend his name. Others stress the importance of due process for all parties and call for measured, lawful responses.
