Dr Timothy Olawale, the Director-General of the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), has died.

Olawale died on Friday, October 1 in an Abuja hospital, according to the NECA Secretariat in a statement released in Lagos on Saturday.

“It is with great regret that we announce the death of Dr Timothy Olawale, our Director-General, who passed away on October 1, 2021 in an Abuja hospital.

“We hope the good Lord to allow his family and us all the fortitude to suffer this irreparable loss,” the statement said.

The statement added that the association was in contact with the family and more information would be communicated in due course.
