Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, criticized the U.S. Attorney’s Office for what he believes is an unjust prosecution.

Agnifilo pointed out that Combs had voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of the charges, highlighting his cooperation with the investigation.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution,” the lawyer said.

He further emphasized that Diddy is a respected music icon, philanthropist, and entrepreneur, adding that Combs looks forward to clearing his name in court.

Despite the charges, Combs’ legal team insists that his proactive engagement with the investigation demonstrates his innocence. The case is set to unfold in the coming weeks as Combs prepares to face the charges.
