TikToker recounts traumatic detention after Lekki-Epe crash

A TikToker recounts a traumatic one-week detention following a Lekki-Epe crash during a live stream, citing exhaustion and lack of support

Popular TikToker Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, has spoken about a traumatic one-week detention following his arrest after a car crash on the Lekki-Epe Expressway.

Habeeb Hamzat said the accident occurred while he was live streaming and insisted the crash was not intentional.

Speaking about his time in custody, the content creator said he struggled to eat and process the situation.

He described the experience as mentally and physically draining.

Habeeb Hamzat said the detention left him disoriented and overwhelmed by the sudden turn of events.

He expressed disappointment over what he described as a lack of support from several celebrities he reached out to during the ordeal.

The TikToker said only a few people responded to his calls for help.

He added that the silence made him feel abandoned and deeply hurt.

Despite the experience, Habeeb Hamzat expressed gratitude to his fans.

He said their support and advocacy played a crucial role in securing his release.
