N15.961 billion will be spent on national and international travel by President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and their advisors in 2024.
The National Assembly is currently debating the 2024 Appropriations Bill, which includes the figure.
He would use N6. 992 billion for foreign travel and N638. 535 million for local travel, if the federal legislature gave its approval.
Vice President Shettima will also have travel expenses totaling N1.847 billion, both nationally and internationally.
According to the budget proposal, he will spend N1. 229 billion on foreign trips and another N 618. 399 million on local travel.
Another N6. 484 billion was provisioned for Villa Headquarters international and local travels.
