Tragic Anambra nurse murder shocks community as woman is lured to treat a client’s mother, then ambushed and killed by conspirators. The main suspect is now in police custody

Anambra nurse murder has shocked residents of Ogbunike in Oyi Local Government Area, following the brutal killing of a young nurse originally from Enugu Ezike, Enugu State.

The nurse, whose name is yet to be officially released, had been contacted by a man claiming he needed her help to treat his ailing mother. Trusting the client, she traveled to his residence for the visit.

Unbeknownst to her, the man had already conspired with four accomplices to take her life.

Upon her arrival, she was allegedly attacked and murdered. Her body was later dumped in a nearby pit.

Fortunately, the nurse had informed her neighbors of her destination before leaving, a critical detail that helped in tracking the incident.

The main suspect, said to be from Anambra State, has been arrested and is currently in police custody as investigations continue. Authorities have not ruled out further arrests.
