Blessing CEO had earlier announced that she was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and was seeking funds for urgent treatment, including a possible breast amputation.
The disclosure drew widespread sympathy from Nigerians and celebrities, many of whom expressed support.
However, VeryDarkMan, reacting in a video shared on his Instagram page on Thursday, questioned the credibility of the claim, insisting that medical evidence should be provided to substantiate such a serious assertion.
“I just hope what Blessing CEO is saying is the truth,” he said, warning that cancer is a sensitive global issue that should not be trivialised.
He added that he was not convinced due to the absence of documented proof, such as hospital reports or treatment receipts.
The critic further argued that the emotional nature of the appeal made it imperative to ensure transparency, especially as public donations were being solicited.

He urged Blessing CEO to present verifiable medical records to support her claims.
The development has sparked intense debate on social media, with opinions sharply divided between those calling for compassion and others demanding accountability.
