Victor Osimhen Galatasaray move confirmed as €75m deal. The Super Eagles striker vows loyalty after rejecting Saudi offers

Victor Osimhen Galatasaray transfer is now permanent, and the Nigerian striker says he is delighted to continue with the Turkish champions.

The 26-year-old, who spent last season on loan from Napoli, fired 37 goals and 8 assists in 41 matches, leading Galatasaray to a Super Lig and Turkish Cup double. He also finished as the league’s top scorer.

Despite tempting offers from Saudi giants Al Hilal, Galatasaray secured his signature with a €75m fee, making him one of the club’s most expensive signings. Osimhen has already netted twice in their opening three games this season.

Speaking to the club’s website, the Super Eagles forward said:
“I have had big offers from some clubs. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t interested, but I’m happy to be at Galatasaray.

I already knew in my heart where I wanted to be. They valued me here…there is a really different understanding within the club.”

Osimhen’s commitment is a huge boost for Galatasaray fans, who see him as the talisman leading their European ambitions.

Currently, he is with Nigeria’s national team ahead of crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda and South Africa.
