Nigerian professionals throw weight behind APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu

A group of Nigerian professionals under the aegis of Nigerian Professionals For Tinubu have thrown their weight and support behind the All Progressive Congress presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a communique issued by the group on June 14, 2022, after a meeting by members in Ikeja, Lagos, the Group Coordinator, Sola Fajobi and its South South coordinator, Tony Nwanne, expressed the professionals’ confidence in the capacity of the person of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to deliver the necessary dividend of democracy to Nigerians across Nigeria.

Fajobi stated that the submission of the group is coming after the APC’s convention, where aspirants keenly contested the party’s candidacy in a free and fair manner, as well as the emergence of Alhaji Bello Masari as the running mate.

While congratulating Asiwaju Tinubu, the group reiterated their decision to work with and for the Asiwaju’s final emergence as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We as Nigerian professionals from different fields that span across media, entertainment, medicine, law, engineering, IT, and more have a vital role to play in determining, who becomes the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We have, unequivocally, thrown our weight behind Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s candidacy for reasons that are obvious for all to see. As professionals scattered across different states in Nigeria, Asiwaju Tinubu’s governance and blueprint in Lagos state have been a major democratic gain for many of us who work in Lagos and others, who seal and transact different forms of business in Lagos. This and many more are why we have decided to throw our weight behind the APC candidate and his running mate,” an executive member of the group, Ralph Arogundade said.

The group urged young Nigerians and professionals, who are mostly detached from the decision-making, to ensure they get their PVCs and support the candidacy of Asiwaju Tinubu, who not only has listening ears but has run an all inclusive government while he was governor of Lagos state.

The group further reiterated Asiwaju Tinubu’s track record and dispositions saying he is the most capable and dependable professional and politician to take the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the next level.
