The management of OANDO Plc has denied having any shares in a Maltese oil blending company that is reportedly behind the importation of adulterated petrol products into the country.
In a statement on Wednesday, OANDO says it “categorically state that neither OAND PLC nor its executives have ever had investments in said Maltese company.”

The full statement reads: “Our attention has been drawn to as tory ciculating on social media and whatzaps.
“The story alleges, among other things, that OANDO PLC and its executives are shareholders in a Maltese oil blending company named Raz Hansir Oil Terminal Limited, that is purportedly responsible for importing adulterated petroleum products into Nigeria.
“We would like categorically state that neither OAND PLC nor its executives have ever had investments in said Maltese company.
“These assertions are false and misleading, and we kindly ask the public to disregard them.”
