Zubby Michael opens up on choosing career over romance in early years, it was shared during a candid conversation in which the actor revisited his struggling years in Asaba, where he was determined to establish himself in Nollywood.

He explained that at the time, he deliberately kept emotional distractions at bay, believing that relationships could affect his mental focus and productivity while he worked tirelessly to build his career.

Zubby Michael stressed that his decision was not based on any negative view of women, whom he described as beautiful, but rather a matter of timing, discipline and personal ambition.

The actor noted that the demands of relationships can sometimes interfere with professional growth, particularly during periods when full concentration is required to succeed.

Having now achieved greater stability, including owning a home, Zubby Michael said he feels more open to love and believes there is a right time for every stage of life.

He added that his earlier sacrifices were necessary to reach his current position, stating that had he allowed distractions during his struggling days, his journey might have been different.
