A Utah woman was found dead in a lake two days after she vanished while on a work trip in Florida, her family said.
Kelly Glover, 37, went missing Thursday from the Westin Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, where she was on a business trip, news station WPLG reported.
“Her friend went to bed early [on Wednesday],” her husband, Adam Bremer, told the outlet on Friday. “My wife was still up and her friend woke up around 4 a.m. [on Thursday], and my wife was nowhere to be found and the door was left open.”
She was last seen on surveillance video from the hotel, which showed her going down a stairwell barefoot around 2 a.m. Thursday, WPLG reported. Her husband said she didn’t have a history of sleepwalking.
Police searched the surrounding area and discovered Glover’s body Saturday afternoon in a lake behind the hotel, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.
No cause of death was provided, but police said foul play is not suspected.
“We’re all just still in shock,” Glover’s sister, Melissa Glover, told the Sun-Sentinel. “We’re all grieving in our own way.”
