Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ certified gold in Canada

The Nigerian Afrobeat artist, Davido’s hit song “Unavailable” has been certified gold in Canada after months of going viral on all streaming and social media platforms.

Over the past year, Davido has been making significant strides in the music industry. His most recent album, “Timeless features the talented Musa Keys. The collaboration between these two artists has been a major success, showcasing their skills and cementing their places in the music world.

“Timeless”, Davido’s fourth studio album, was released on March 31, 2023, and has achieved remarkable success across all major streaming platforms. The album boasts of 17 tracks and features other renowned artists like Logos Olori, Asake, Fave, Cavemen, and many more.

The album also established a new milestone for the highest number of daily streams by an African artist, amassing more than 50 million streams across various music platforms. The album’s songs consistently dominate the charts.

Davido has solidified his position as one of the biggest names in the African music industry. He recently performed at the inaugural Trace Awards in Kigali, Rwanda, where he won several awards.

The African superstar is set to close out the year with three concerts which will be held in Port Harcourt, Abuja, and Lagos.
