Two Nigerian bettors have raised allegations against the popular betting platform, 1xBet, claiming that their substantial winnings have been denied after a winning bet of N137 million (one hundred and thirty seven naira only) was placed with a mere N80 stake.

The bettors assert that 1xBet refused to pay out their winnings, citing a purported mistake with the odds offered.

The controversy surrounding the incident began when these Nigerian bettors won an astonishing N137 million with a minimal bet of N80, defying the odds in an extraordinary fashion.

Expecting to cash in on their incredible win, the men submitted their claim to 1xBet.

However, to their dismay, 1xBet allegedly denied their winnings, alleging that their staff had made a mistake with the odds. This decision left the bettors frustrated and seeking answers from the betting company.

“If your employee made mistake with odds, na we come make that mistake? Make una give us our money abeg. Nigeria make una tell 1xBet to give us our money. We no get body for problem,” the bettors said.

The case has since generated substantial attention on social media platforms, with users expressing their concern and disappointment over the alleged denial of the bettors’ rightful winnings.

1xBet, a well-known betting platform with a global presence, has faced criticism and scrutiny over similar incidents in the past.

The betting platform has kept mum over the allegations, which is a big dent on 1xBet’s accountability and fairness in the betting business.
