In response to the recent BBC documentary alleging abuse and misconduct by the late Pastor TB Joshua, the former Nigerian Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has come to the defence of the revered clergyman.
Taking to his social media platform, Fani-Kayode expressed his unwavering support for TB Joshua and condemned what he referred to as “dirty lies” aimed at tarnishing the legacy of the late pastor.
In his statement, he commended TB Joshua for touching many lives, fighting a good fight, and establishing a great and enduring legacy.
The controversial politician emphasized that no man or institution should be allowed to destroy that legacy with what he termed as “dirty lies,” specifically mentioning the BBC in his post.
“So true! You touched many lives, fought a good fight, stood till the end and established a great and enduring legacy.
“No man or institution can destroy it with dirty lies: not even the BBC!”
Fani-Kayode continued, stating, “Continue to rest in peace, brother, and thanks for being such a blessing to the Church, the Christian faith, humanity, and our beloved nation Nigeria. We are and shall always be very proud of you.”
