President Bola Tinubu has declared his commitment to taking action to address Nigeria’s socio-economic and security challenges, stating that it is not his character to blame past administrations. Speaking at the flag-off of the Agric Mechanisation Revolution for Food Security in Minna, Tinubu emphasized the importance of perseverance and consistency in nation-building.

Tinubu highlighted the need to re-engineer the finances of the country and stay on the right path to achieve progress, asserting that complaining or making excuses is not in his dictionary. He underscored the significance of facing challenges as economic opportunities and caring for the farming population, including livestock farmers.

Addressing the issue of economic sabotage caused by herders whose cows destroy farmlands, Tinubu pledged to end such activities by reorienting herders and providing a comprehensive programs for cattle rearing. He called on governors to provide land for this purpose, committing to presenting a comprehensive program to address the problem within two to three weeks.
