Soludo’s road infrastructure in Anambra drives economic growth as the governor completes the 10.95km Ikenga-Igboukwu-Ekwulobia-Ezinifite road

[dropcap]G[/dropcap]overnor Charles Soludo’s administration is transforming Anambra’s infrastructure landscape, with the recent completion of the 10.95-kilometre road linking Igboukwu, Ikenga, Ekwulobia, and Ezinifite communities in Aguata Local Government Area.

This milestone reflects his broader economic and infrastructural development agenda, as outlined in the state’s 2025 budget.

The community leaders of Ikenga have lauded Soludo’s commitment to enhancing road networks, recognising the impact on local commerce and daily life.

According to Izuchukwu Uzor, “Governor Soludo’s solution has come to our community, and this will bring huge transformation to the entire Aguata Local Government.”

He praised the governor’s visionary leadership and dedication to improving the standard of living through enhanced connectivity.

For the first time since its creation, the Ikenga community now boasts a tarred road, a testament to Soludo’s governance under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

His administration’s selfless leadership continues to prioritise road infrastructure, with a clear focus on completing existing projects while initiating new ones.

In just 30 months, approximately 310 kilometres of road have been asphalted with exceptional quality, reinforcing his vision of a well-connected state.

Major projects like the Ekwulobia flyover and bus terminal are nearing completion, signifying the state’s infrastructural progress.

Additionally, the dualisation of the 34-kilometre federal highway from Amawbia through Agulu, Ekwulobia, and Uga to the Imo State border, alongside the 36-kilometre stretch from Nwagu Agulu through Nnobi, Nnewi, Ozubulu, and Okija to the Onitsha-Owerri highway, represents a transformative step in Anambra’s road network.

The Soludo administration’s strategic focus on road construction aims to boost economic activities and connectivity across Anambra’s 21 Local Government Areas.

By prioritising quality infrastructure, the governor is laying a foundation for sustainable development, improved mobility, and enhanced trade, reinforcing his long-term vision for Anambra’s progress.
