Charly Boy recalls Peter Obi visit, revealing the former presidential candidate brought him a surprise Ghana Must Go bag filled with fruits and nuts
The veteran musician explained that the visit was unplanned, but he agreed to meet Obi because of his admiration for him.

“As I come downstairs to meet him, na so I see one big Ghana Must Go by the entrance of my sitting room.
I look at the bag, I just dey wonder, wetin fit dey inside this bag? We siddon gist about Nigeria, about politics, about family, etc, for almost two hours,” Charly Boy recalled.
According to him, Obi eventually told him, “See small thing I bring for you.” Curious about the contents, Charly Boy checked the bag after his guest left—only to find it filled not with cash, but with roasted groundnuts, alligator pepper, kolanuts, pawpaw, oranges, agara, mangoes, bananas, and other fruits, all hand-picked by Obi.
The gesture caught him off guard, sparking laughter. “I just don’t know when I fall for ground begin laugh.
As I call am to thank am, he say, ‘Senior, I no fit give you money, but I fit give you this one, na my hand pick.’ Which kind of native intelligence pass this one?” he said.
