Sky B claims he joined the Illuminati in 2007, revealing alleged initiation rituals, sudden fame, fear of sacrifice and eventual downfall
Nigerian singer Sky B, best known for his hit song Ma Bebe, has opened up about a controversial chapter of his music career, claiming he once joined the Illuminati in a bid to attain fame and success.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the singer said the alleged experience occurred in 2007, at a time when his career was gaining momentum and he was desperate to reach the level of leading music stars and producers, including Don Jazzy.
According to Sky B, he approached a friend to help him establish connections with individuals linked to the group.
The friend allegedly contacted someone based in the United Kingdom, who later introduced him to people said to be part of the African wing of the organisation.
The singer claimed he underwent an initiation process and was given several items, including rings, necklaces, perfumes and a special cream, which he was instructed to use, particularly during stage performances.
He alleged that soon after joining, his life changed dramatically, with money and fame coming easily. He said he bought luxury cars, travelled abroad frequently and enjoyed increased attention from fans.
Sky B further claimed that the cream he was given contained strange substances that caused his skin to glow, making him stand out wherever he went.
He also alleged that meetings were usually held late at night and that some members could mysteriously enter his room without opening doors or gates.
According to the singer, he became deeply afraid when conversations allegedly began to involve human sacrifice and references to family members.
He said this prompted his decision to withdraw from the group.
He also claimed that after leaving, he was involved in three accidents within a single month and narrowly escaped death, adding that he believes the incidents were connected to his alleged involvement with the organisation.
Sky B said he eventually lost the wealth and fame he had gained during that period but decided to share his story to warn others and pass on lessons from his experience.

The claims have continued to spark widespread reactions online, with many social media users debating the singer’s revelations and revisiting his impact on Nigeria’s music scene during the height of his popularity.
