Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she once planned to become a pastor, describing a strong spiritual calling she felt from a young age.

The revelation came during a livestream interview with celebrity blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, where Dikeh candidly discussed her faith, life experiences, and the challenges that shaped her purpose.
“I’ve always had this calling right from when I was a child. At 19, I was going to be a pastor until I ran away. I’ve been in church since I left secondary school. So I had always known God intimately and intensely,” Dikeh said.
She explained that although she stepped away from ministry, her connection with God remained unwavering.
The actress described her life as “anything but ordinary,” with each challenge contributing to her growth and resilience.
Dikeh added, “God called me and needed me to go through all I had to become the firebrand that I am today.”
Her personal testimony sparked discussions online, with fans praising her honesty and reflecting on how life’s challenges can shape an individual’s purpose.
The actress’ revelation also drew attention to her public life, including her reconciliation with ex-husband Olakunle Churchill, which she described as part of her ongoing journey of faith and personal growth.
