Etinosa Idemudia death threats: Actress says Mercy Johnson helped stop her ex-husband’s threats through military intervention.
Nigerian actress Etinosa Idemudia has disclosed that fellow actress Mercy Johnson intervened to protect her when her ex-husband allegedly threatened to kill her.

In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Etinosa said the threats began after she discussed past domestic abuse during an interview for the film Stormy Heart.
The media, she claimed, distorted her statements, prompting her ex-husband to accuse her of attempting to ruin his career.
Etinosa explained, “When the threat was getting too much, I had to cry out on Instagram. A few people reached out, but I remember that Mercy Johnson contacted me because of her military background. She said she would forward the case to the Chief of Naval Staff. To cut the story short, someone from Abuja reached out, and they took over the case. That person will not bother you anymore.”
Reports was made that Etinosa was first married to Babatunde Solomon, a military officer, and the couple divorced between 2017 and 2018. Her second marriage to Benin-based lawyer Ighorosa ended in 2021, after they had their first child.
