Sanni, who has actively produced content for streaming platforms and digital media, emphasised her dual roles as an actor and producer.
She revealed recent work on her YouTube projects alongside a Netflix production, showcasing her versatility across formats.
Speaking about her return to Aníkúlápó Season Two, Sanni described reprising the role of Olatorera as “deeply fulfilling.”
She praised her collaboration with veteran actress Sola Sobowale, noting a close mentorship and personal rapport that enhanced the filming experience.
She also lauded Afolayan, calling the collaboration “great and awesome.”
Olatorera is considered one of the story’s emotional anchors, characterised by ambition and romantic vulnerability.
Sanni explained, “Olatorera is a lover girl and she never learns. No slacking and no dulling. I’m a lover girl in real life too; that’s me,” adding a laugh.
A notable challenge for Sanni in the new season was speaking Portuguese in extended scenes.
“When Uncle Kunle asked if I could speak Portuguese, I said no, though I could speak a bit of Spanish. I had to download an app and really put in the work to learn the language,” she said, crediting her efforts for the positive audience response.
Looking ahead, Sanni outlined ambitious plans for her career and Nollywood’s growth.
She envisions the industry as a global powerhouse and aims to own a film studio, become a household name, and create opportunities through compelling storytelling.
She expressed interest in collaborating with Nollywood heavyweights such as Funke Akindele and Kemi Adetiba while expanding her reach to larger screens.
